I work a rotating swing shift from days to nights then back to days. I count my calories all night for the day before since I may eat 1-2x's during the day on my first night then I sleep the next day and start eating around 4pm the next night. My last night that I wake up in the afternoon, I may eat 1-2x's and I'm allowed to eat 1200cal/day so I will eat any food that day just to try to reach the 1200. I call it my cheat day.
I am curious if anyone else does shifts like I do and what you do for the nights.
I have lost weight but I'm at my goal of 150 but have been here for a month. To maintain I can have 1850cal/day but I don't eat that for fear of gaining weight. I don't eat that much now and I'm still at 150. I think since I eat less and I'm not losing that I'm better off not eating the 1850/day and if I lost a few more lbs that would be good too.
Thanks for any advice.

I always track my food from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. Our internal clock doesn't care with the clock on the wall says.

As far as your calories go, you should be eating at your maintenance amount to give your body the proper nutrition it needs. Slowly work your way up to that amount. If you want to just add an extra 100 calories to each day for a week to see what happens, do that. I understand the fear of not wanting to gain but when you're maintaining you really do need to eat more.
