Sugar?

I'm finding it impossible to stay under the reccommended sugar allowance. If I eat one piece of fruit I've use almost half! What do you folks think? Should I try to stay under my sugar allowance or do you think it's okay to go over by a little if most of my sugar is coming from fruits?

Any help/advice you can give is greatly appreciated! Thanks :flowerforyou:

  • I, too, go over my sugar allowance pretty much everyday. Probably because I eat an apple with my oatmeal every morning and in the evening I have a 100 cal icecream bar. I don't worry about the sugar too much. I'm doing better than I used to pre-MFP and am continuing to lose regardless.

  • I was just trying to figure out if I could eat my Special K bar with my yogurt for breakfast. So I inputed what I brought for my lunch to figure out my sugar intake and realize that with my lunch and nothing else I will have gone over my sugars as well! This is very frustrating because there are alot of sugars and carbs in my diet that I didn't think were there. How on earth am I supposed to curb these if I am not eating that many to begin with?! I need help too.
