Hi anyone and everyone! Robin here... 43 living in southern California
I've been using MFP for a while now. I started tracking my eating a few months ago after I quit smoking after 20 years. I was having terrible swelling in my legs so I gave up diet sodas too, the sodium and caffeine were killing me. After a meatloaf sandwich one mid morning, I had an attack of epic sickness (of the origin is still unknown) and now I've been told I have an enlarged spleen and liver. I don't drink often so I took a stab in the dark that what I am eating is catching up to me.
Did a very low calorie doctor supervised week at 800 calories with nothing processed, no red meat and low fat in addition to low sodium diet to spurn on a flush and I really dint feel well enough to ingest anything with fat in it. I am moving the calories up to 1200 because I'm feeling much better, but man I feel the hunger.
I'm eating only fresh products including lots of veggies, fruits (which I don't like many) no bread, no pasta, no meat, no potatoes. I am using skim milk and fat free yogurt when I can. I use slim-fast drinks occasionally when I am out of options or paitence.
I did not exercise the first week, but I am adding my Wii-fit 20-30 min yoga 5 days a week again and increase up to more cardio filled games, like tennis.
Looking for Support and help anywhere I Can get it...
Nice to meet you all
