Any 30DS Users/Grads Out There?

So this summer I did P90X and Insanity, but now that I'm back in school I don't have as much spare time. I was thinking of doing 30 Day Shred in my room because it's only around 30 mins long a day and doesn't require me traveling to the gym and what not. Only problem is that I live in an apartment with a pretty small room and I'm on the top floor. I don't want to make a lot of noise for the people underneath me. My dad says that the apartment has concrete floor and I should be fine if I'm doing things like jumping jacks, but what are your opinions?
So, anyone that's currently doing/has done 30DS, what do you think? Will I be able to do the workouts in a small bedroom? And will I be disrupting my neighbours?
PS: I already have any necessary equipment so that's not a problem.

I started today in the upstairs of my 2 story house at 8am. I didn't have any family members questioning my jumping around and I normally don't make much noise at all so I'm going to say you will be fine.0 -
You don't need a ton of room. Just enough to do things that require you to be in a push up/ plank position and jumping jacks. I'm on level 2 right now.0

Yeah I think you should be fine!0

Woohoo! Quick replies are awesome.
Alright so the space I have in my room is the area beside the bed. Def enough room for pushups and stuff. Are there any exercises that take up more room than a pushup would?0 -
You should be fine. I've done it and I'm glad to say that it doesn't take a lot of space and if you have concrete floors your dad's probably right.0

I also live on the second floor so I try to do the moves with less chock because I'm actually very noisy. At the same time, I'm thinkibg it's only 30 seconds at a time so my downstairs neighbor won't die.0

You should be fine because even though you do cardio intervals you don't do them for an extended period of time. Maybe consider getting a mat if you have a hard wood floor.0

The room has carpet and I'm going to bring my yoga mat and running shoes. Hopefully that will make it less noisy.0

I have a 3ft x8ft space in my living room and do the workout while baby naps. So the jumping doesn't bother him and though it's a bit cramped I manage OK (still on level 1, not sure what the other levels will bring). it's also such a quick workout and you only jump for short intervals, I doubt anyone will complain. I'm sure your neighbors will get loud from time to time.0

Thanks for the quick responses everyone! I think I'll give it a go!0

I am on day 14, been on level two for 7 days... I think you will be fine. Agree with all previous posts. May need a little bit more room than what's needed for plank position to to some level 2 stuff. But, can't speak about level 3 yet..... And I think you won't be disappointed by 30 DS. I don't know about P90X et al but, I have lost 1 1/2" off my waist since starting 30 DS two weeks ago. I think that is pretty good!! Good luck. Timing is great on it. Very compact.0

In level 1 there's a move where you lay on your back and lift the weights up above your chest and then down spreading your arms out, making a T (if that makes sense). I do this with my feet up on the couch because of the limited space. There's also a beginner crunch where one arm is out, perpendicular to your body. I bend my arm because there isn't room to hold it straight.. Since I'm only on level 1 I don't know if more space is required later on, but I doubt it. I think part of the secret of this workout is you can do it anywhere.0 -

Making a T in my room might be a little hard... I guess there's no harm in trying though, right? Maybe I'll bring my workout stuff to the apartment this week and try it. If it's too crowded then it's back to the packed gym.0 -
So last night I did day 1 of 30DS and I don't think I made too much noise. One of the exercises I had to do while half lying on my bed but it got the job done. Haha.0
