Hi, I have A LOT of fruit in my fridge and i was thinking about doing an all fruit day tomorrow. Its just going to be one day. I also had a few bad days this week and gained weight. Im hoping the fruit day will help flush my system of all the unhealthy food i ate. Do you think eating just fruit for one day is good or bad? Thanks

Haha, try it. One day in the scheme of things won't make or break you. Plus it's always fun to see how different things affect you. Maybe it will fit your body perfectly (probably not, haha), but I see no harm in it.0

My body would feel completely starved if I ate all fruit but your body could be fine. Also even though its all fruit there is a LOT of sugar in fruit and too much of anything is a bad thing. For flushing don't forget water and fiber!! But if the fruits gonna go bad if you don't eat it then get on it! Or at least eat a piece with every meal.0

Drink lots of water to offset the amount of fiber you'll be eating, unless you usually have high fiber counts.0

Just fruit is going to be A LOT of fiber.
Why don't you just eat clean. Plan your meals out now, and your snacks, prep them and don't stray.0 -
*sigh*....I thought this was gonna be a LGBT thread....*leaves quietly*0

If ur planning to exercise tomorrow, all fruit might not be wise unless you're dragging a bedside commode with u :-00

In all honesty, your bowel movements will not be pleasant the day after...0

if you do it, stay near a bathroom...:laugh:0

Fruit (all day)- - too much SUGAR0

I think that too much of anything can be bad. Fruit is great for you, but too much is a lot of sugar and not really any protein. Maybe make a smoothie in the morning with lots of different fruits and then eat light the rest of the day?0

It'll mean a super high sugar and high carb day with no fat and no protein. So you're not going to stay full very long and you'll probably find yourself spiking on energy/moods.
And personally, fruit makes me gain if I eat too much over the course of a week, so I try to keep my fruit/veggie intake mostly on the veggie side of things with only the occasional interspersing of fruit.
So I wouldn't recommend it, but if you really want to try it, go for it. Tell us all how it goes.0 -
Probably wouldn't hurt, but I would keep plenty of air freshener on hand...0

Have fun with your fruit and add it to your water for the day super yummy and a sweet guilt free treat.0
