I actually joined myfitnesspal quite a while ago, but never got around to using it to it's full potential. More importantly I recently discovered all of the wonderful tools available for all of us seeking a healthier lifestyle. I am always trying to look for the positive, but I am human like everyone else and I occasionally require some support too! According to my ticker, I have 6 pounds to reach my weight goal and I know they are going to be tough :grumble: to get rid of, but I know I can do this. I have actually lost closer to 29 pounds to date (on my current diet) and am about half way through, as soon as it is over I will start training for a 10K which I am hoping will help me shed those stubborn pounds that refuse to come off.
I know this journey can seem so difficult at times, but everyday I become more convinced that it is completely worth it  and there is nothing in the world that can feel as right as knowing that you are doing everything in your power to make sure you are around for the long haul. ~Daisy

Thank you very much! I am glad that I came back to this site, though I must admit I am kicking myself for having waited so long. But I am here now and committed to this.
Oohhh!! And today I made another amazing discovery (of course only news to me, but I will share anyway) I found sugar-free ketchup and if there is anything you should know about me is that I ketchup. And after 43 heart breaking days of no ketchup I should get my package by the end of the week
I guess I am a bit of a dork :noway: but that's ok.0 -
Also i dont know if you know but i love chicken and seasoning it....so if you like seasoning do the mrs dash since it has no sodium, and us women retain water, so it totally helps, i put the seasoning on burgers, chicke, fish whatever i can and i have also lost weight with that too. it helps retain less water !0
