Diet and exercise on a crazy schedule

I have a crazy schedule and it can change from week to week and from day to day. Most days I wake anywhere from 12am to 2 am. I work anywhere from 7 to 11 hours a day. I deliver potato chips to grocery stores and never take a lunch. Usually I grab something quick to eat while I'm working that most times consists of a candy bar. I understand I should and can grab a banana and such. When I get off work is when I usually get lunch. Sometimes I take a nap sometimes I can't fall asleep. My problem is I feel like my day lasts forever since most days I don't go to bed till 8 or 9pm so my body is confused as to when and how often to eat. I'll get hungry for dinner before my boyfriend gets home so I munch trying to hold off and wait for him so we can eat together then I realize I've basically eaten 2 dinners. ARG!!!!! Any suggestions to this or is it all in my head?

  • 3 hrs or less of sleep is very bad for you, I know firsthand from working full time and going back to college full time while commuting over 1000 miles a week. Sleep's the first thing you have to take care of. How long has your schedule been like this? Your body will adjust to the getting up at midnight, but it will likely never be really happy about it. You need to create a schedule for yourself that works, even if it means not having dinner with your BF. Take a small cooler with you to work with healthy lunch and snack stuff. Eat on a reasonable schedule. And I don't mean to be rude or unsympathetic about the job market, but the healthiest thing for you would be to try to find a job with a more reasonable schedule!
