Ok so i know about the negative calorie foods, Meaning that the body uses more calories to chew/digest than the actual amount of calories in the food.
So has anyone any ideas / recipes for making a negative calorie snack / meal.
Im really trying hard to stick to my calorie intake and so on, but i am always hungry, I am used to having BIG portions, so i was thinking if i made a negative calorie soup or something similar, I could eat this when i feel hungry without going off track..
I know there is a lot of debate about the whole idea but i do believe it.
So serious answers only please

Hi
I've read about negative calories too - and whilst it might not be quite to magic wand it claims, then certainly the foods it includes are very low in calories, so that has to be good! Here is a soup I saw which sounded quite nice
Jodye
1 head green cabbage, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium onion, peeled and diced
4 large carrots, peeled and sliced
4 stalks celery, sliced
4 turnips, peeled and cut into cubes
2 zucchini, peeled and cut into cubes
2 cans green beans
32 ounces beef stock or chicken stock, or 16 ounces tomato juice and 16 ounces water
Combine all ingredients in a stock pot and bring to a boil. Add water, if needed, to cover all vegetables. Reduce heat to a moderate simmer and cover. Cook about 1 hour, or until all vegetables are tender.0 -
That's great !
Il certainly try that this week, Even if its not negative or 0 calories, If its as low as possible, it would make a really filling snack, until i get used to smaller portions.
Besides with my cooking skills il certainly burn of a few calories attempting to cook it all lol0
