Doing the right things?

Hiya, I joined a few days ago. I'm a mum of 4 kids I'm 27 and need to loose about 50lbs.
've joined here and been given a 1200 calorie limit whih I'm sticking to. Eating lots of veg and gone down to skimmed milk ect.
I'm doing the 30 day shred (man that hurts) and also the occasinal zumba and am walking alot.
I've been doing this for a week and have my first weih in tomorrow.
Do I sound on track?
It feels really really daunting and the road ahead seems so so so long but the before/after pics really help on here.
Guess its 1 day a a time?
