Hi there, just looking for some ideas for wraps - I am not very imaginative. I have only just started making these for lunch, turkey slices, tomato, red onion, laughing cow lite cheese, cold hard boiled egg.
I do not like tuna, iceberg lettuce, raisins/sultanas
Would love to hear your wraps!
( I make my wraps the night before, then add the tomato while at work so it doesn't get soggy)

Last week I had deli turkey, muenster cheese, romaine and mustard and another day I made a wrap with egg salad and romaine. I was out of tomatoes. I use the Flat Out whole grain with flax wraps and love them.0

I've been doing 3 oz of plain grilled chicken, 1 tsp of mustard, 1/4 of a roasted bell pepper (in a container), and a handful of spinach or spring mix for crunch. I've even swapped out the mustard for hummus or homemade guac. (avacado, chopped onion, lime juice, salt & pepper) and it's great. I put this on a La Tortilla Factory Smart & Delicious Low Carb High Fiber tortilla to keep down on cals (50 cals a wrap).0

love the flatout wraps. Light Italian for me. I make mine with hummus, feta cheese, baby spinach and either ham or turkey. I'll also use a spinach dip, tomato and the deli meat.0

Izzy, stay away from Iceberg lettuce anyway. Spinach is soooo much more better nutrient-wise anyway.
My typical wrap consists of items that I always have on hand. Here is an example:
--LaTortilla shell(s) - low carb, whole wheat, high fiber and come in different flavors. Only 50 cals per shell.
--Base: usually Athenos Hummus but I also play with different vinaigrettes (raspberry, lime, etc)
--Greens: spinach, always
--Meat: turkey from the deli, sometimes ham from the deli. Grilled chicken works, as does cooking some Jenni-O Extra Lean Turkey on the stove.
--Veggie: favorites are bell peppers (orange, yellow, red, green) and mushrooms. Sometimes red onions or regular onions... tomatoes are always delish to add too!
Typically leave off any cheese but if I know I'll get a good burn that day will add in some low-fat feta or crumbled blue cheese.
Here are some other recipes I have saved
----
Egg and Chicken Salad Wrap
Ingredients
* 2 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
* 1/2 cup steamed broccoli florets, finely chopped
* 1 1/2 cups chopped chicken
* 2 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
* 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
* Freshly ground black pepper
* 6 12 inch whole wheat tortillas
DirectionsIn a bowl, combine the eggs, broccoli, chicken, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
Heat the tortillas, covered with a paper towel, in the microwave for 30 seconds, or until warm.
Spread 1/2 cup filling over the bottom half of each tortilla.
Tuck in the right and left sides of the tortilla and roll it over, with the filling away from you.
Slice in half horizontally, and place seam side down on a serving plate.
Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

I like chicken tikka masala and mint chutney, It can be low calorie if you make some substitutions.0
