It's not a quick fix diet. You begin with Cycle 1 and then proceed to go through Cycle 2 and 3 (all of which are 17 days) and if by the end of the 3rd cycle you have not lost all the weight you desire to lose then you start again at cycle 1. You only begin the fourth cycle if you are happy with your weight and plan to maintain. The last cycle is the diet you will have for the rest of your life if you choose to continue to follow it. I have the book and am planning to start it soon, while I have friends who have lost 10 pounds in the first Cycle. I advise it!0
