A co-worker just suggested cooking Whole wheat spaghetti, then putting it in a heated wine with garlic and then topping lightly with parmesan cheese...

Has anyone tried something like that?

I've seen Rachel Ray cook her pasta IN wine instead of water!

What you mention sounds pretty yummy, healthy and low cal

Really its low cal. What kind of wine do you use. I need something that makes the pasta tastes good!!!

I think I'm going to do this-
Cook the pasta in water, then heat a small pan with a bit of white wine ( I think I have chardonnay at home), a couple of drops of EVOO, garlic and then 'saute' the pasta in it...and then cover with a splash of parmesan. Right now it sunds REALLY good, since I am starving...so we'll see.
