I am following the nutrician reports and it seems like I am way too low for iron everyday - even if I eat steak with broccoli.

Any tips on upping my iron levels?

Understandable. I take MFP's vitamin and mineral suggestions with a rather large grain of salt. Then again, I also take a daily multivitamin. If it's a concern, I'd suggest seeing a doctor and having some blood work done just to make sure.

This has always been a problem area for me. Several times I've been unable to donate blood because of low iron levels. I don't eat a lot of beef, but I do eat beans and greens (both very good sources) often. I've not taken supplements because my levels have never been too low for health, just too low to share my blood (sometimes). Since I'm 50 I'm assuming that will soon remedy itself anyway.
