Hi :)

I am new to the forum boards here. Actually joined up to fitness pal a week ago today. I have been dieting on and off for a number of years with some success, but then putting most if not all back on after giving in for one reason or another.I am happy to say I have started off this diet the best I have ever done and I think that is partly due to the fab food diary on this site. I have managed to loose 5lbs in one week! I had to get on the scales 5 times this morning to be sure. The most I had lost before was 3lb the first week. Anyway, although I am happy I know that this is mostly water retention and I always fair well in the beginning, it is when the weight loss slows down in the next couple of weeks that I will need help and support, as that is when i give in....normally. I am hoping I get that here. Looking forward to getting to know you all.
