Tomorrow night my family and I are going out to Quaker Steak and Lube, and for some reason I can find no nutritional information about them or anything in the database :grumble: Has anyone ever been there and know anything that is relatively healthy / won't kill my calories?
Thanks!

If they have a 6 ounce sirloin - that's always a good bet in a steak house. Baked potato, butter & sour cream on the side, salad with dressing on the side and steamed veggies of any sort are always a good idea (no butter, or on the side)

I find the name of the steak house highly amusing!! It sounds like an auto repair facility!
  • Yes we have one about 10 min. away in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Great food! Nope, I know of nothing that they have that is non fattening. Their onion rings are evil. They are served on an antenae that you would find on the outside of a car. Very cute! I think they have grilled chicken. Good luck!!!
  • Thank you for the wonderful suggestions  Hahaha You hit the nail right on the head! That's the theme of this place, pretty neat actually. They have classic car shows all summer, and my bf and I love going. They have lifts and old cars right inside, above the dining room. Thanks again!
  • Photographer, I completely agree that the onion rings are evil lol ....so are the rest of the appetizers, soooo good but oh so bad for you. Thanks!

It wont let me check the menu options at work, but have you looked on the website to see if they offer the nutrition content?
  • Thank you for the link  I checked the site, and oddly they only offer a picture of their tempting menu, not the nutritional info :grumble: Very odd lol Thanks!
