Are all carbs bad? I was over on my carbs, but then my workout took me out of the red. But then a navel orange I had put me back in the red because of the 19 grams of carbs. Are carbs in fruit still bad for you? Can anyone suggest a food that wouldn't have many carbs for my next snack?

Veggie snack, like celery!! Eat carbs with protein to slow absorption rate for even blood sugar.
All carbs are not bad.
Veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds, and limited whole grains are GREAT for you!! Just limit processed foods.0 -
carbs are amazing. they refuel your body and help your brain function. most people need at least 100g of carbs a day.
There are forms of bad carbs such as excess sugar from candy and simple carbs that are easily broken down in the body such as those from processed foods.
You want complex carbs that come from whole grains and pastas, brown rice, and vegetables. While fruit does contain lots of natural sugar and simple carbs, the vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber are really good for you so eat lots of servings of those too0 -

Before eating a lot of servings of fruit, get your triglycerides checked. Fruit and sugar are what make your triglycerides go up and that is what causes cardiovascular disease. Due to being diabetic, my triglycerides are 4 times what they should be..............
I can only have 3 servings of fruit a week and the serving can be no larger than the size of a kiwi.0
