I'm new to the loose leaf tea scene, just bought myself a cheap ice tea maker and would like to start making some good green tea.....Where's a good place to buy some good Chinese/Japanese green teas? I bought my mother some teas from Teavanna for mothers day and that place is rediculously expensive so I'm hoping to avoid them if possible.

you can find a lot on ebay, just type in oolong into the search engine. i have bought from there on numerous occasions. BTW in my opinion the taiwan teas are the best. it usually takes about 2-3 weeks to get your teas. I have a tea set i bought in taiwan a few years ago. another good place is www.sevencups.com0

I'd also say Etsy or Artfire. They have amazing teas on there.0
