Ello ello... any other Brits working a night shift at the moment?! I feel like the only one in the world! It's currently 03:00 am and I'm sooo tired!!
Which for me, results in wanting to eat! I ate my snack at 12:00 - oh woe is me.

Well, I'm not Brit, I'm Texan.. not the middle of the night here.. but I know about either having your snack early or missing a snack all together. Sorry.. sometimes I have to pack multi snacks even if I don't eat them during a day. So.... how's work besides being all night??0

Hi SarahCeeee,
Hello from America (specifically, Miami)! I don't work nights either, but my boyfriend does for 3 months straight every year. Over the years, he's learned to adjust his body to working at night without getting fat. He eats a full dinner around 8 to 9 pm and brings only fruit snacks to work. When he gets off work at 7:00 am, he doesn't go to sleep, he'll have a full breakfast and stays up at least 5 hours doing his daily chores and exercise. He then settles down to sleep around 1:00pm (sidenote: make sure the room is completely dark, so you can sleep soundly). He'll wake up around 8pm, get ready for work and eat dinner....
This is only two full meals a day with fruit snacking overnight to keep your energy up. It works for him; maybe it can work for you if your schedule and home responsibilities allow. I also learned that lack of sleep makes people gain weight, so get plenty of zzzzz's too when you can. Good luck.0
