I just bought 2, 5lb kettle bell weights for the 30DS. Do you all think I should do less? Or maybe dumbbell weights? I have 2 & 3lbs weights ( dumbbell) an a 10lb kettle bell but I'm not that stupid to use my 10lber.

I use 2lb weights for it. I've only done level one, but I'm fairly certain that kettlebells aren't involved with any of the exercises for that video.

Maybe I should have watched it first lol. So kettle bell weights are for specific work outs?

I used 2 lb for most of the exercises the first time through, but 3 lb for some of the easier ones and 5 lb for the easiest. Basically, if I didn't feel like I had to quit by the end of the 2nd repetition of the exercise, I used a heavier weight until I really felt the burn.

Second time through, I used 3 lb for most, 5 lb for easier and 8 lb for the easiest.

If you can handle higher weights, then definitely go for it. I only did running & tae kwon do (which focuses on kicks) when I started, so my upper body couldn't handle anything above the 2 lb!

I use 2.5kg dumbells (5.5lbs) but they have started to get too light for most of the exercises. Saying that, I still struggle with them on a couple of things and will often just use the one instead of both.
