Fell off the Wagon...Not so Bad!

I had minor surgery back in July which prevented me from exercising and led to a general falling off the wagon. During the past 2 months I have eaten fast food pretty much daily and all the old snacks like chips, cake and cookies. I weighed in this morning for the first time and was suprised to find I had only gained back 3 pounds!
How is this possible?
Whatever the reason I am ready to get back on track but it just makes me wonder...

I had the same situation once and when I saw I had not really gained I thought I could eat what want and did until I had gained a ton. Get back on that wagon my brother0

When I fall off the wagon... I mount... Jump and do a double-back flip with a full twist - 3 x 10's with the judges... I dust myself off and go back to the grinding wheel0
