    Why is there braille on a drive up ATM?

    I'm guessing it's just cheaper to manufacture all the parts the same way. Walk Up/Drive up machines probably have the same keyboard thingie.

    ^^^This. ATMs manufacturors make them the same regardless of where the ATM is going to be placed. The bank that owns the ATM decides if it will be a drive-up or a walk-up once received. The manufacturor has nothing to do with that process and it would be silly to make 2 different sets of keypads (which means different plate sets and ordering).
