 Question of the Day- Day 59!!!

Do you ever delete your friends off MFP after so many days of not logging in?

**Me- I am trying to decide if I should or not!!! I want to because I only want positive, dedicated, motivating people on my friends list I don't want a bunch of people just taking up space lol

Yes, sometimes I delete people when they haven't logged in after so long, but usually only if they are people I wasn't really interacting with anyway :)

I delete friends that haven't logged in for a long time or don't interact at all with me. I'm not a big fan of giving out support and never getting reciprocated. Cut em!
  • Maybe your friends who aren't logging need you to be their positive person when they come back!

Yup - unless they are friends IRL - then I leave them hoping they will see my updates that feed to FB and come back. That may change at some point - not sure.

If I haven't interacted with them much and don't have a real relationship (vitual/real, I mean. :ohwell: ) I will delete them.

    THIS!!!!^^^
  • Unfortunately, I have a few times. When I am giving support to them and not getting nothing in return or when I have noticed they haven't logged in for more than 10 days or so. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt like vacation, family time or they need a break but I usually know when it's time to let someone go. When I started MFP I made a promise to not be a "friend collector" and make sure I keep a group no more than 50 therefore, I can give them all my support.

I delete friends who either don't log regularly, rarely to never interacts with me or just has consistent annoying posts. It really bothers me when I offer encouragement and support on their status on a regular basis but, they never comment on my status. I know that sounds childish but, I'm only being honest.

I don't they notice it until they figure out they aren't receiving your status updates.

You could be the one responsible for a total transformation. Maybe all it takes is a 'hey, come back!' and you've helped in the creation of a totally new person. Imagine how much more the could achieve, thanks to you!

    Just something to think about....

I haven't yet but I have like 5 that haven't been on for a month & 1 that hasn't been on for over 2 months so I have been thinking about it.
  • I have not deleted anyone yet....but thinking about it!
I have e-mailed people who have not logged in for over a month
to see how they are doing...not sure what to do with
the people that don't get back on track
I have a few friend that have not logged in for over 3 months...
