Cheap & Cheerful HRM from Aldi

I wanted to get an HRM but wasn't sure if I was going to make good use of it so was reluctant to pay £50+ if it was just going to get left in the cupboard! Someone else told me that Aldi was selling one for £12.99 (Crane brand), which she had been using and had found accurate, so figured it was worth trying. It has everything I understood I needed, chest strap; calories burn; fat burn; min/max heart rate plus lots of other things I haven't figured out yet!

I've tried it a few times now and am really quite happy with it! Although when I first put the chest strap on it can be a little unpredictable if I'm sitting down (says I'm working out at 99%!) when I'm working out properly then it seems to be good. My calorie burns are generally higher than stated on the MFP database but have seen a few comments on here that say MFP is generally low, and because I'm quite unfit suspect it takes me more effort to do most things!

Overall, definitely worth £13 as a starter HRM and if it does everything the £50+ HRM would do, see no reason for 'upgrading'.

Hope this helps you if you're looking for cheap & cheerful!
