is there anything that I'm allowed to go over? Like protein, fat, sodium?

  • It's always ok to go over on fiber....and most of the time protein.

    Eh, if you go over a little on any of them it's not that big of a deal. I tend to go over fats by 1 or 2 points a day because I like ice cream. =D

    Protein is fine. I go over fat sometimes, especially if I have avocados, nuts, or peanut butter that day (I have pb most days). Definitely keep sodium as low as possible. Try to keep sugar low, although that is hard if you eat a lot of fruit.

    It's kind of a personal question. Without knowing if any particular food or macronutrient affects you oddly, as long as you're in a caloric deficit and within maybe 5%(?) of your goal for fats, proteins and carbs, I'm guessing you're ok. That seems fairly conservative to me, but I'm pretty free with my airs--nutritionally speaking, of course.
