Okay....so I keep hearing how everyone that does the 30 day shred are sooooo sore it's hard to walk. And I thought, " Hey, I want some of that!!" So I went out and bought it today. My question is, should I start it now, or wait until biking season is over? I mean, if I am going to be that sore, I probably won't be able move, let alone ride. At 57 (it's not ThAT old. I didn't start rock climbing untl I was 53) recovery time is a little longer than...say...37. Anyway, all of you that have done it, what do you think??

I'm on Day 4, and I was able to walk without pain today. So if you can stand the extreme soreness for a few days, you'll be okay. :)

Thanks, curiositycat (pictured with a horse? lol, love them both, cats and horses). Your response helped a lot.

I find that as long as I don't use weights that are too heavy, I can still run without a problem and it's a good balance.

    Good Luck!

I have recenttly completed the shred on Sunday and have started ripped in 30 on Monday. I admit there was some soreness but seeing that your a biker you may be able to manage both. However, winter is coming so its a great program on a cold winter day. So maybe enjoy the last of the bike season before doing in home work outs, just a thought!
