We didn't have any cable up until early this year. We caved and had cable turned on the day the Steelers made it into the playoffs.

No cable, but we do stream-hulu, netflix, amazon. Love it so far and it's been since February of this year. We still haven't felt the need to go back.

I don't have cable - read or watch a movie on Netflix.The television that was in my place when I moved into (it was furnished) has never been on (that was in January).

I have a TV but no TV channels. I use it to watch Netflix through my roommie's XBox 360. He wants to get cable, but it doesn't matter to me. I can... um... yes, watch the shows the next day. On the network's website, of course! :laugh:

I tried to get cable. It didn't work out. Apparently the previous tenant in my house didn't pay their bills. I've sent all kinds of proof that I am not them and that I lived elsewhere at the time. But they refuse to lift the hold on my address. It's been ~2 1/2 years now.

When I get my condo, Im not gonna bother setting up cable. With high speed internet, there is no reason for it whatsoever for me to get it with sites like hulu. I also have a harddrive with about 900 movies on it, which works as my own personal netflix

I have it, but getting it super cheap cuz I threatened to cancel. As soon as that special price goes away, I'm done. I could not even tell you when I turned the TV on! Not happy with NetFlix & the price increase, so that may be the next to go... I live for my music, XM radio, no commercials! X keeps forgetting to cancel my subscription!
