Egg whites - a good low fat way to keep full?

In conclusion, are egg yolks a food that could contribute to weight loss or weight gain?
I'm not sure how to answer this. Eating fat does not make you fat. You need fat for fuel. Fat is very dense in energy as well as it keeps you full longer......so you're going to feel full longer if you eat say 3 scrambled eggs instead of a bowl of oatmeal.
However, if your body sees a surplus of energy coming in.......it can store any of Fat, Carbs, or Protein.....thus gaining weight. Eating egg yolks will not make you gain weight if you are staying within your calorie goals on here (which I assume are already setup to include a calorie deficit)0 -
