Is anyone using Body Rock TV for their workouts? and if so what are you tracking it as in the exercise log? I put it under curves circuit training. Just wondering what everyone else does when an exercise isn't in the data base?

I have a heart rate monitor so I create my own exercise. Since they are so short, I don't really burn many calories
50 cals burned in 4 min workout
140 cals burned in 12 min workout
just small stuff like that. her workouts are really important to help build up endurance and really get your body to a healthy point. they are well worth it even without a large calorie burn0 -
I do her workouts also, love them!! I created my own exercise and I call it 'HIIT' (high intensity interval training) which is really what her workouts are. It's true that the short ones don't burn alot of calories, but with HIIT it's the 'afterburn' that really counts. I did an 8 minute one yesterday that acoording to my HRM burned almost 200 calories. They really are intense! (::happy:0

Totally right ^
HIIT on an elliptical 3x a week was one of the best weight-loss routines I've done. 5 minute warmup , high 1 min, low 1 min for 20 minutes then 5 minute cooldown. (it was a setting on the machine). Your body can be recovering up to 38+hrs later. Waaay more effective then an hour on the treadmill or bike at a moderate, or steady pace.0 -
