So Tuesdays are my deadlift days. Last week i deadlifted (and stiff leg deadlifted) 120lbs 12 times (4 sets of 3 reps) each.
Yesterday i did the same, but ended up doing 16 reps each! I've been doing a set weight for 2 weeks and then adding 5 lbs, so next week i'll be up to 125lbs (i weigh 108.2lbs, so this is pretty cool for me).

I also did standing bicep curls, hammer curls, and alternating shoulder presses a total of 20 times each with 30lbs (fully extended, too! No halfsies for me anymore!)

Today? I did P90X legs and back. No weight, just went really low. Why no weight, as i usually have a barbell loaded with 60+lbs on this DVD? Because i tried a warmup set with 40lbs, the bar rested on my shoulders (which, i came to find out are BRUISED) and promptly collapsed to our concrete floor because of the "OWIE" on my muscles.

Hey, people? That crap hurts-try not to do it, okay?

However, i feel awesome (okay, not really-i feel like i've been hit by a train today because i not only did deadlifts, but i also did about an hour and 45 minutes of Insanity yesterday) because I'm moving up in my lift weight a lot faster than i had been WOOTWOOT

That's awesome! Are you hip to the Manta-Ray? May help with that bruising. I just have a OD green military blanket taped to my bar but I have used that Manta-Ray in the past and it is awesome!
