Don't need anything fancy just wanna know how many Cal's I'm burning but don't wanna pay $100 for it. Any suggestions or tips or what brands to look out for. I hear polar is the best but if something cheaper is gonna work just fine I'm gonna go with the cheaper lol

I got the New Balance N4 and I love it. Does all the things the Polar does for cheaper. The chest strap is way comfortable, and it was super easy to use.
I got in on Amazon for around $55.0 -
ditto on the NB N4...love it.0

I got a Polar FT4 off Ebay for $23 with free shipping! It was brand new, still in the package! It's not fancy but I don't need anything but calories, HR and time so its perfect for me :happy:0

I'm in the same position - was about to buy a polar but realised it was going to cost more than i hoped. But the cheaper brands get poor reviews for reliability. I really dont need something that is going to calculate my horoscope and the trajectory of the planet venus - but i do need something i can trust. Urgent advice welcome0
