Lemonade Green Tea

I got hopelessly addicted to the starbucks version of blended lemonade this summer while hubby and I were on vacation in Vegas. Once back home, I needed a low cal, budget friendly version and this is what resulted from a few experiments.
2 packets of Crystal Light Lemonade
3 teabags- Tazo Zen Green Tea (this one has the lemongrass & spearmint in it)
I fill a 2 qt sauce pan with water to boil it, then add the 3 tea bags and steep it for about 3 min.
Pour it into a LARGE pitcher, fill the rest of the pitcher with water and add the crystal light. Pour it over a nice glass of ice (I use crushed) or put a little in the blender and use it like a margarita mix for the blended version. Its not quiet as creamy as the starbucks kind when blended.. but tastes equally good and is MUCH cheaper to make!
When we had BBQ's this summer, I made this for the girls and they LOVED it.. not only cuz it tastes good, but because no calories, no sugar and it does NOT taste diet at all! Of course, we experimented a little further and found if you add just a smidge of liqour (we used Tuaca) it made an awesome hard lemonade!
Enjoy!

Thanks for this - it sounds yummy and refreshing... I'm still looking for new drink ideas since giving up the Dr. Pepper!0
