I am tired and hurt all over. Have walked almost 8000 steps today at work which burned 345 cals. Mentally I feel better than I have in quite a while and am really pleased with my progress over the last week.... but

Do I really have to do my workout???

But I don't want to...

But it hurts ...

But I don't want to ....

Did I mention that I hurt???

If you are that sore hon. . Give yourself a day off. . It will give the muscles a chance to repair and then you can do a workout tomorrow. . . Just a thought.

Don't be afraid to take a day of rest. If you don't give your body the time it needs to recoup orate then you will actually be doing more harm then good. Pain is good, but if it lasts more than two days its too much! But be sure that after your body feels up to it, kick its tush again, it will thank you later! Don't forget that.

Sweetie, it depends on your workout. You are sore from walking... but there are other things you can do :)
  • Thank you so much .... just the answers I was looking for.

i was kind of hoping that people would get on here and say go and do it .... but think i will take you advice and take it a bit easy this afternoon. will see how i feel tonight and might do a gentle workout.

"Pain is weakness leaving the body" Jillian Michaels

I would vote to do it!
  • Convinced myself to do something.

I tried to do Jillian's Yoga meldown (gosh that is sooo hard - even at the beginners level) and did the first 10 minutes but that at least got me motivated to get on the airwalker while i watched the rest of the dvd.

Feel much better that I did it despite not wanting to. Off to have a shower and very early night.

    Thanks all.
