I've been doing MFP since june 21st of this yr. I had been seeing steady progress up until 9-5-11, then.... A BIG FAT INCREASE! What the heck! 6 lbs! I had been staying within my daily cals, been exercising 3 times per week, or more... usually more...but the point is...no losses....until today! 3.2 lbs! (down from the weight on 9-5-11) Thank goodness! I was starting to give up hope that I would even reach a size 12... even though my goal eventually is to wear a size 8. ( I am currently a loose 18, and had started as a tight 18) ----geesh! That was hard for me to say... I can't believe I let my weight get this high....:noway: but I did, and now I am making a lot of positive lifestyle changes .... Soooo glad that the scale finally budged this week!
I believe I just experienced my first plateau! UGH! They suck! Any advice on how to charge right through them next time...? This one took such an emotional toll on me.... I, of course didn't realize that was what was happening at the time, or if it even if happened at all, but I have lost a total of 27 pounds, so it probably was one....? Any advice from others that have had similar experiences...? I would really appreciate it... I have never lost this much weight before, this is all new to me...
Thank you in advance...

I am so glad that it finally budged for you! I am in a platue right now. Its lasted all month long. I also started in june and was a tight 18 jean! I lost 14 pounds and they came off pretty steady so to see the scale stop moving is disappointing. I am not gaining so I cant complain to much. I am going to add some strength training into my routine, and the 30 day shred. Which I did level 1 last night and it was hard! But I am going to stick with it and I cant wait for the scale to move. Good luck on your journey!
