Although I love Halloween, I still go all out for Christmas too! Decorations everywhere!
  • I think I prefer Christmas personally, just because it seems more family-oriented in my small sphere. I also really like the carols and thought of snow, and all the special goodies, and presents... yeah, Christmas, hands-down.

Never celebrated Halloween a whole lot but its history is interesting, it can be overdone (just like Christmas), but the fact that it's famous for pumpkins puts up a tough fight with the mistletoe and eggnog (I LOOOOOVE pumpkin).

Oh wait, but there's a lot of materialism and greed that seems to come out of humanity during Christmastime, myself included...

They both SUCK! I HATE holidays! Everyone gets greedy and fat. There's too much candy involved.

Thanksgiving :-) LOL I know that wasn't a choice but it is the one holiday that is all about family!! :: Christmas is a close second... it's hard to compete with Christ's birth... but I feel that Christmas has become more about gifts and money. That is why I love thanksgiving, I can show how thankful I am for Christ's love, my family and all the many blessing of life, and it has nothing to do with giving or receiving material objects.

    Christmas!!!!

It may be stressful at times, and some people go nuts over shopping and dinners and such..

But the time I spend with my family and friends swapping gifts, playing games, eating yummy meals and drinking lots of yummy booze, watching holiday movies, reading Christmas cards, listening to the music, decorating a tree, hanging up lights outside.....you get the point....it all makes Christmas the most memorable time of the year for me

    Halloween > Everything

I literally plan my outfits the year before, randomly shop and buy the perfect pieces, and usually sew most of it myself. Always have 2-3 costumes ready to go. Half those outfits aren't even from halloween though, just random parties and dressing up.

OH MY I LOVE ALL YOUR PICS! BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE!

While living in the midwest I LOVED Halloween. In AZ its different. I liked the cooler weather, heck- one time we even had a blizzard in MN! LOL But in AZ it's still warm out and well while I have been to some fun parties, it's just not the same....

NOW CHRISTMAS! HOLY BUCKETS! That is my holiday! I love it! I love the hymns, i love the piano music, I love the jazz, I love the cheesy pop songs, I love the classics, I love the fireplace, I love calling my cats "Christmas Kitties," I love buying presents for people, I love writing warm wishes and blessings to people, I love my annual bake off, I love my Holiday parties, holiday cocktails and holiday dresses! I love the games, I love the family times, I love the pics! I love the tradition!!!! Of course, I love what it stands for. Of course it's a Christian holiday and while raised Lutheran and still a believer I am much more open than most and think that to have a group of people all excited about and on the same day/month is a great vibrational energy! And yes, I love Christmas music in July! I love shopping with my friends, I love decorations and MOSTLY I LOVE SPRITZ COOKIES!!!!!!!

OH- but I don't love the commercial BS aspect of either... In AZ all I see is plastic surgery OUT walking around and well- be creative, not trashy! LOL Same goes for Christmas- a lot of people just like gifts! LOL It's a Capitalism time of year!!!

Christmas. The music, the decorations, family, Church... It's all great. Last year I broke my toes the month before, so I didn't decorate. I LOVED having an excuse to watch Christmas movies all day!

Halloween!!! My Christmas thrill is more about the kiddos now. But I still really get in to Halloween!

I never seem to get enough of everything Halloween - dressing up, doing up the house outside, scaring the kiddies, the parties, horror movies, going to haunted houses. I'm actually a part of an online Halloween forum too, that gets together every once in a while. I find if I get my fill by Halloween by doing everything above, I'm good and can move on to Christmas by late November. I don't like the fact that you start hearing Christmas songs as soon as October. We need more Halloween songs, haha.

This is a hard one. Love all the candy and dressing up at Halloween, BUT I am going to have to go with Christmas. Pretty much the only time I get to see my extended family! Also, it's easier on me as a teacher!

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Fall is just too lovely. The cool weather, the falling leaves, the food, just absolutely everything. Plus I have an obsession with costumes/dressing up, so it's incredibly fun for me. :3 Gore, ghosts, and just creepy stuff in general just makes me happy, too. It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeear~

Nightmare before christmas, best of both worlds!

Halloween is my favorite. There is so much more creativity with the decorations, so much more fun too. Costumes, haunted houses, horror movies, crazy themed food, etc. Ton of fun!

Halloween. It's actually fun, as opposed to Christmas where I'm forced to be with my batsh!t crazy family all day.
