The little things....

So, yesterday I wore a shirt that I bought last year, and it was a tiny bit tight then (its a medium, and I've been at least a large for as long as I can remember). When I put it on at the gym in the morning, I noticed it was a lot looser than before, and when I got home from work, my husband looked at me and said "honey..that shirt is way too big on you...it needs to go in your pile" (meaning my "too big" pile that I'm getting read to donate).

Some days its just these little things that keep you motivated! I'm rapidly running out of clothes at this rate though, and with about 20 to go to my goal, I am NOT ready to buy anything new yet...ugh!

I had a too big pile and got rid of 76 things like u I wont' buy anything new but I did have to get a few pairs of shorts tho. And they are too big already. That's ok my tops are all XL way to big but I won't buy any new ones of those. My main thing was panties! LOL was in XL got L and they are too BIG I was so excited! Still wearing them tho!!

    Keep it up!

Oh, I hear ya! I've lost 10 pounds and all my pants are loose on me now (two to the point that I can no longer wear them) but I refuse to buy anything new until I'm absolutely forced to (maybe I should learn to sew! lol).

Last Sunday in church, a lady I haven't seen there since before I started my new meal plan, sat near me and commented on how much weight I've lost since the last time we saw each other. It was the first time anyone outside my family commented on my weight loss and it sure felt good! : )

As someone just posted on my page, "Slow and steady wins the race"...sooo true!

Thanks...I'm in Michigan so we're at the season change right now, and this is the weekend to put away the summer and bring out the fall/winter stuff. I have to spend a few hours doing a full closet scan, so I'm sure the donate pile is going to be scary. I think I'll just try to enjoy a 'minimalist' closet for as long as I can stand it, and try to hold out on new things.

I am right there with you! 20 minutes to my goal and everything is so loose! Thankfully I have some old clothes that are smaller, but right now they are a bit too small so I am living in baggyness!

LOL @ the panties being too large as I'm having the same problem and refuse to buy new ones until forced to do so! ; )
