pedometers?

So, I am really curious about pedometers.
I have "jog tracker" on my phone that estimates my calories when I run (also, with the GPS it tells me exactly the distance I ran. AWESOME app, you just have to bring your phone with you on your run!)
Also I would like a more accurate reading for when I do weights & what not at my home.

So anyway, I was looking into getting a pedometer, but I don't even know where to start.

Does anyone have a good one that is under $50? (if you have just an awesome & convenient one more, you can tell me about that to. can always look on overstock.com! )
