Weight loss and pregnancy

I'm halfway to my goal (52pds so far, I'm 42) and found out I'm pregnant with no5! At first absolutely ticked that I am cos on the pill but now morning sick ova Ive accepted it. Lucky to already have 4 great kids so whats another!!! I have never felt this much control over weight loss before and think i can manage it while pregnant but I am struggling to eat more and am not sure if its fear of gaining weight again , financial stress or just new habits. My attitude to this weight loss and the reason I think I have succeeded I think is that my focus has been nutrition and energy (doesn't mean I don't eat the occasional treat tho). I have researched and spoken to my doctor about the appropriate weight gain and new research suggests that it should be according to your BMI and seeing as I'm stil in the obese category, my increase should b between 6 - 9kg. Phew, point is...has anyone else had this happen...falling pregnant halfway or so and how much did you put on and what concerns did you have about not putting on enough? I want bub to be healthy but I know that if I gain too much it has potential to spin me out and make me miserable and tired!

if you keep logging you should be fine. I don't know what r the extra calories next trimester for your case but you can do this. The first trimester can be caotic because of nausea and tiredness but later you'll feel better and be able to eat well and log often. Congrats!!0
