How Do I Start a Challenge?

I'd like to challenge MFPers to run a 10k on New Years Eve ... Not right before Mid-Night ..... Maybe around 6:00 pm. or so. I haven't run in in years (like 20 yrs) and think it would make my New Year's Evening sweet!
