Right, i would love to know if anyone else has this problem or not...
i had a "sporting" injury and went to the dr's say ummm 7 months ago now as everytime i sat up off the bed or moved my legs around it felt like 1 part of my side(under my right ribs were on fire) in pain. he said it was a pulled muscle..fine..i have since got similar on the left side everytime i pull my legs up high to my chest or bend down so it puts preasure into my stomach,
but this one is not going on it's own iv'e had it for about 4+ weeks now.and on top of that the right one has started to come back again!
i class myself as pretty fit i do the p90x daily(i take it easy on the abs)but this does not acually hurt it!
any ideas guys or is it i just have weak ab muscles?

    Ouch

Dunno what it is though, but a doc/physio might be able to pinpoint exactly what it is given the specific way you can reproduce the problem.

I don't think it's your abs, I think it may be your entire core.

Or if it's consistently hurting doing certain things perhaps you are doing things with bad form and feeling it after the workout.

So doing the AbRipper X and the Core Synergistics would probably benefit you.

I know when I started running my back was killing me after about a mile because my core wasn't that strong, a few rounds of Core Synergistics helped that tremendously.

no it is constantly there if i get into the positions that hurt it!

I'm thinking a physio would be worth the effort/money to work out exactly what the problem is and, if appropriate, they will probably give you exercises to correct it.
  • I trust my friend who is a massage therapist. She always can figure out what my problem is. Any in your area, I highly recommend.

I would definitely go see a physio, one that treats sports injuries, I went to my GP about my knee, he said it was doing this, that and the other, recommended Ibuprofen gel and tablets, that was it (didn't work). So I took my self to the physio who sorted it in 4 sessions and gave me rehabilitation exercises to keep it on track - worked a treat. I now visit the phsyio twice a year just to maintain ensure nothing is getting worse. Good luck in getting sorted, being hurt is no fun :(
