Duoathlon ... kind of...

Being near the end of C25K I can now just about run continuously for 5K. .e and my friend go running 3 to 4 times a week, and also fit in some biking. The usual bike route we take is a gruelling 12km of hills and country roads. Be we have been taling about combining the two after watching the triathlons the other week on tv and being inspired.

Tomorrow we are taking the challege, this is what it will entail:

-Two blokes
-1 bike
-Start with a 400 metre warm up walk for both of us
-challenge begins with one on bike and one running for 1km
-Switch places so the other is running and the other can bike for 1km
-At about 8km in rest point we normally sit and have a breather when riding
-Restart for the final 4km to the start point
-Final 400m walk to cool down

Anyone else done anything like this? Just thought I'd post this for people to have a go maybe or share your experiences of things you may have done simular.
