Core Workouts: What Should I Do?

There are so many core/ab exercise possibilities at the gym, I usually don't know where to begin.

Does somebody have a good core training program you can post that would take about 15-20 minutes, 3-4 times a week?

I'm still doing light strength training while running in preparation for my first 5K but feel I'm slacking in the core area. Any help or links would be appreciated.

    The P90X AbRipperX is awesome, it's a good core workout, and it's like 16 minutes

    Hyper-extended sit ups and straight leg dead lifts would be simple and fast.
