Is anyone out there eating gluten free??? I have had lots of digestive troubles and a bunch of peoples notes that I have read said they went gluten or wheat free and this really helped. Any recommendations for books or sites or recipes?

Awesome recipes and ALL are gluten free! :)
  • My diet is gluten free, dairy free (due to allergies) and i try to keep it low in starch and preservatives. Cutting back on these foods have helped my digestive problems enormously. I'd recommend getting some tests done to find out if you are allergic to wheat or gluten because its much harder to test once you go gluten free.

My daughter is celiac and strictly GF therefore my family is mostly GF by default. There have been lots of good GF discussions on this site before. Try to search for some.

I am not gluten free, but our lodger is so I have to be very careful about what I cook with. I eat oats, but I try not to eat wheat too often. I don't eat bread often or pasta at all.

I find it quite hard, but after over a year, I find I get sick when I do eat pasta these days.

My family members that have Celiac get GF bread at Sam's Club.

Before you go gluten free you should talk to your doctor and get tested for Celiac's disease. Once you are gluten free, the Celiac's test becomes invalid, and you might get false negatives. Good luck!

I am 95% sure I don't have coeliac's disease. I just don't digest wheat well. But I agree if you think you do, then you should get tested.
