I'm apparently lighter AND happier!

I've been on here since April, right before my fiance and I got together. In that time, I've had several NSV's that I haven't shared with everyone, like how I needed to buy a new belt because my old one was too big. But last night I had a pretty big one!
I was talking to a classmate that I hadn't really talked to since December, and she remarked that she almost didn't recognize me the first day of class because I've lost so much. She then went on to say (and this may or may not be weight related...I think it plays a part) that I seem so much happier than I was last fall. I agree!
So there you have it!

Good for you...you're right on track for "happy healthy and active" like your tagline!
edit - when I met my now-husband 5 years ago, I heard a whole lot of "you look happy" comments. I guess that's a good sign that you're with the right person0 -
Your body is part of a trifecta that needs maintained.
Physical, spiritual, and mental. If even one is lacking, the entire structure is weak. Maintaining the physical is just as important as keeping your mind sharp and your spiritual / emotional well-being taken care of.
Congratulations on your achievements.0 -
I agree. Noticing I have more energy to do fun things and be myself makes me happy. Being a lazy slug is depressing.0

Congrats! It is always so nice when a goal is met and someone else notices it.0
