too few calories ..

Hiya,

I am 247lbs and my daily calorie allowance is 1360 a day. I am struggling to meet this goal, and with exercise on top of this I am left with loads of calories that haven't been consumed. Sometimes fill out my diary but MFP will tell me I am eating too few calories. The problem is that I am not hungry between meals, so do not eat snacks to bump up my calories. Does anyone else find this ?? How have they overcome it ?? Any ideas would be helpful !!

    Nuts and/or Peanut Butter is the answer.

    Eat anyways.
    You may not think you are hungry, but your body needs those calories. If eat every 2 hours, regaurdless, your body will get used to it and eventually you will just always be hungry..
  • Peanut butter...a serving of nuts... all have about 200 cals a serving.

    I agree with the nuts comment, nuts are highish in calories and good for you!

    I think that as you eat better and exercise your metabolism will speed up and you will get hungrier. If you eat too few calories you will lose muscle and not fat....its real messed up, so the key is too eat more small meals to increase your metabolism.

    You should at least eat most. Leaving 50-100 or so is fine, but too much left over too often is not a good thing.

    This is my second day and I am having the same problem in a little different fashion. If I eat all of the calories, I bust the other limits especially sugar. What's more important, the calories or not busting the other stuff?

    I had this problem, now I try to discount sugar from fruit, hope this helps.

    Eat more foods that are dense in cals, like nuts

    But isn't it still sugar? I had the same problem today - 543 calories left, but I'm at 0 sugar left. Yet I am full.
