Too much protein?

Is there such a thing as getting too much protein? I am over the daily goal almost every single day. Can't imagine it would hurt me, but you never know. Your thoughts, please.

    im over on my protein too i eat alot of yogurt which is good for u right?

    not unless your excessively over...i got kidney stones once in high school and the doctor told me it was because all i was drinking was protein shakes (it was a bad time in my life so i wasn't healthy anyways) but i think that as long as you have everything else in there you'll be fine :)

    My doctor recommends that I get between 60-80 grams a day. That's more than my MFP goals. Just make sure you're drinking plenty of water. You can always ask your doctor what your absolute max should be.

    Aubrey is spot-on! Each person's body makeup is going to be different than the next person. Discuss this with your doctor because he/she is the only person who knows about your current medical status and whether or not you need to adjust your protein-intake.
