I did in 2005, I started working out while I was on sick leave and then I don't know what happen, I just could not get it together. I gain a lot of weight and am now trying to get back down. I don't have any pain in my lower abd. and I workout like a beast, always have. Unfortunately, the weight does not fall off as fast as it did in the past. Hopefully, your Doc will be able to give you more information.
  • ok thanx , i,d do anything to work out like a beast ... ive not put an ounce on ... i,d love to move about like i did, ..good for you in what your doing :)

i dont think we can always maintain the fitness that we used to have when we were young but at least stay as close as you can to that
i used to swim for more than 200 m without stopping and stay under water for 4 min. im sure i wont be able to be close to that again but at least if i could maintain 50% of that , i would be happy :)
just keep up the spirit guys ,,,
  • No you wont be the same... YOU will be an even better version of you.

    Good luck on your journey.

I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago and I actually re-opened the incision from doing to much to soon. I had pain for several years and I still have tingling sensations at the incision site. I just had a tumor removed from my lower chest cavity and in the process of it being removed I had some nerve damage. I too like you, am very active and yes there are days the pain I have from this recent surgery can be very trying and interfering. The doctors have told me this may never go away since it is nerve damage. So between adhesions, scarring and nerve damage........any of these three could be the source of your discomfort. I wish you well and hope you can find some relief.
