My posts depend on the food I eat really-which is dumb I know. There are just some days I eat at the galley and it's hard to remember every little bit of salad and meat and whatever so sometimes I just don't post those days-they aren't often though and I hit the gym for 1.5-3 hours a day 6 days a week.
For me my motivation is seeing that green number for calories consumed at the end of the day. I had one meal at KFC after staying away for months; I gained 4lbs of water weight and was over on calories, fat etc for the day. I almost didn't post it, but I did and I'm glad-it was a real eye opener.
So, now more than before even, I think about what I'm about to eat before I eat it.

I've gotten myself into a routime of bringing meals to work and snacks, that way there's no temptation to buy the high fat foods in the cafeteria or order out with the gang.I also have increased my water intake which seems to have kept the huger pangs away and if I slurge on something I try to exercise those extra calories away.

Considering what? Do you mean logging in your food diary? I pre-log all my food in the morning, usually. That way I can tweak my meals for the day to fit into my macros. Once I've eaten it, it's too late to undo something. As for preparing my food in advance, I find freshly cooked meals more satisfying. This is what works for me.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm so poor at drinking water everyday and that is key to weight loss , I'm finding out
  • I use the mobile site on my phone - and log as I go during the day. It helps me to be responsible for what I eat.

I dont really use the website except for looking at the forums :)

I prepare cooked foods two days out of the week to last til the next. Like turkey burgers, fish, seitan, whatever I'm in the mood for. Then I meal plan for a day or few days depending. I just add my fruit, vegetables, wheats, dairies, etc. I bought two 4 cup sized water bottles and drink three to four of them a day to get my daily gallon. It's work, but the rewards are my goal. Pace yourself and eventually you can get into a routine that you are comfortable with.

    Much luck and inspiration!
