Chocolate Pumpkin Smoothie

I just made these for my kids and they scarfed them down. Not only did they get tons of Vitamin A, they got all their omega 3's and 6's from the Chia seeds.
Makes 4 Servings
2 1/2 cups pumpkin pie mix
1/2 cup almond milk or soy milk (adjust accordingly)
1/2 cup applesauce
1 TBS Chia Seeds (thickener)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I used Spirutein Chocolate)
1/2 cup ice (optional)
Blend and enjoy!

ok, just got back from grocery shopping. where in the store would one look for chia seeds???0

Never though about putting pumpkin in a smoothie.
I have a few smoothie books too, I like gettin creative and making more interesting/dessert type flavors.
