Anyone else notice that you're weight jumps up when you're sick? Mine jumped up about 5 lbs for a couple days this week while I've been battling something. I'm beating it now and the extra lbs just went away. I had a lot of sinus drainage and congestion.

I've had a cold for a few days now and have noticed that my weight loss has stalled, but I haven't gained more than a few ounces. I'm sure it's water retention.

I have allergies right now and am very tired thanks to my drowsy medicine but I've lost more weight during this "sick" time than when I'm not suffering from allergies...

I try to stick to home remedies for cold and flu symptoms. That cough medicine just makes me feel even worse. One thing I did read is that exercise can help alleviate cole and flu symptoms, provided that you're not so nausiated that you can't exercise. A little bit of cardio does seem to clear out the congestion a little bit.
