funny sleeping stories
I want to know if anybody has funny stories about a family member or somebody at bedtime
for example my little brother sleep walks sometimes and one night he went and turned on every light in the house there wasn't a light he didn't turn on
but my favorite story is of my husband. One night he bolts up out of bed looks at me and says was that the door bell I look at the clock and go no!! honey it's 3 in the morning who would be at the door..... he jumps out of bed saying it must be the pizza man.... I started laughing the pizza man really and he was like yeah I'm going to go answer it he dresses more appropriate for answering the door... I hear the door open then a few seconds later it closes... he walks back into the room with the saddest look on his face... I asked him what was wrong and all he could say was no pizza man...... he jumps back in bed and as soon as his head hits the pillow he starts snoring again...... I was laughing hysterically..... I asked him about it the next day and he didn't even remember it at all.

 Oh your story about your hubby was so funny!
My hubby on the other hand fights in his sleep. Yup, Dangerous when I sleep beside him and almost get punched. Once he hit the nightstand and bruised his knuckles and another time he hit the wall and scraped his hand and bled. He wakes up from the pain but by that time the deed is done. :frown: He has NEVER EVER hit me... and he says hes afraid to hurt me someday. I'll tell you this much, I'm a scrapper and if he hits me he's going to wake up to me pummeling him with my fists! :laugh:0 -
When my sons were 10 and 12 they not only both talked in their sleep, they would have conversations with each other in their sleep.
One of them is married now, and his wife is constantly telling us funny stories about things he said in his sleep. Our favorite is the time he sat bolt upright in bed and started freaking out because he forgot to buy beer. He was having a full-blown anxiety attack about it - basically, the world was going to come to an end because he didn't get the beer. The funny thing about this is that he doesn't even drink beer. He also didn't remember a thing about it the next morning.0 -

Oh, those are great stories!
I had a friend sleep over when I was about 8. She got up in the middle of the night, woke me up, and insisted that we play a board game. We played the whole game (she won!) and then went back to sleep. The next morning she didn't remember a thing!
I think the creepiest was my cousin who occasionally would sleep with her eyes slightly open.0 -
When he was little, my brother used to sleepwalk, but only to pee. And, he would only pee (in his sleep) in the garbage can. We stayed at my Aunt and Uncle's house once. Instead of the garbage can, he chose the dog's water dish. We have never let him live that one down.
My ex talks in his sleep. He once said, "The sun is paper clipped to the sky!" On another occasion he decided to tell me, "It's like three little Inuits crossing the Mojave!"
When I was younger and was at a summer camp, I managed to punch walls in my sleep each summer. I was also recently told that I could probably make a lot of money off the bear I'm apparently trying to wrangle in my sleep0 -

hahaha the sun is paper clipped to the sky isn't it? lol my husband was mad the other day and I told him to calm down that their wasn't anything he could do about it he fell asleep and then half an hour later said well I guess there's not use crying over spilt bacon0 -
When I was younger I used to sleep in bed with my sister (she was 4 yrs younger) on the weekends & she would sleep with her eyes open sometimes. Most of the time they weren't all they way opened but this one time I woke up - turned in bed & she was staring right at me. So I started saying her name & she just stared. It really creeped me out. Another time I was told to go check on her because she was in the tub- she had fallen asleep in about 3 inches of water with eyes wide open- staring at the ceiling- talk about panic. But we laugh about it now.
My fiance talks in his sleep all the time. I walked into our bedroom once when he was sleeping in late & he was yelling at someone to leave him alone. He also has the tendency to get a little frisky. There have been multiple times when he's rolled over & just started trying to make out with me- which of course wakes me up. It's very weird. I'll say something to him in the morning & he doesn't remember a thing.0 -
My daughter sleep walks. She does stuff like the OPs husband.... acts out her dreams I guess. Sometimes theyre really awful and arent funny at all. But usually its really random kid stuff. Dont really like it when she tries to leave the house though. ack!
A month or so back, I had some friends staying here crashing on the couch. One of them had been drinking pretty heavily and was talking in an english accent before we went to sleep. He got up at like 4am and walked into my bedroom and said "cheerio!" and waved with the weirdest look on his face. Then he went into the bathroom for a reallllllly long time. So I got up and asked him if he was ok and in his accent said "Im lost and locked in a closet. Ill be fine until morning love" He didnt remember any of it in the morning.0 -
Haha - these are hilarious! I don't have anything specific but my husband occasionally scolds the kids in his sleep.
One night my dad had worked all three of his jobs and when he got home he poured himself a glass of milk. Halfway through drinking it he fell asleep. He woke up pouring his milk on his foot.0 -
Sometimes I wake up because I'm dreaming of giant ants, spiders, or cockroaches crawling on my bed! I will jump outta bed and flick the lights on when all of a sudden they would disappear...the worst was when a 5' cockroach crawled out from behind my curtain!! lol0

My little brother used to always sleep walk and we found out when he's in that mode you can make him do anything. Once we built a little house out of couch pillows and told him he was a bear and to go sleep in his cave, what do you know he crawls on all fours and curls up in a ball inside the tiny home. Also another time we told him he was a football player and after we called out hike! he went charging down the hall  He still doesn't recall a thing0

My husband got out of bed one night and I found that he was taking awhile to come back to bed. So I got up to check on him and he was standing in the kitchen with a big bag of potato chips! I just shook my head and went back to bed. Well, the next day, he went to the pantry and asked, "Who ate that big bag of chips?! Geez! Didn't think about anyone else might want some!" I started laughing so hard I could hardly tell him that HE was the insensitive one who ate the ENTIRE bag of chips at 1:00 in the morning!!!! He didn't believe me for a while then realized I was telling the truth. Funny...0

My son had night terrors when he was small one night he sat up in his bed and called me, when I went in he told me that there was a ship and it was hungry. So humouring him I asked him what it wanted to eat he stared right at me and said in the creepiest voice "Everything" I nearly freaked out, I was waiting for his head to start revolving LOL:devil:0

One night i was laying in bed and my now ex husband sat up strait as a board out of a dead sleep with his eyes open huge and screamed out "BUTT DOCTOR!" then laid back down peacefully and resumed his sleep. I think that is when i realized something was wrong with the dude. Haha!0

My daughter used to sleep with her eyes half open too. My ex husband used to joke that nobody was going to sneak up on her. Apparently her daughter sleeps with her eyes half open too. Like mother, like daughter. :laugh:0
